MS Novell Deal on Linux

I can't see this as a bad thing though I am not sure I completely understand the "real" motivations for each of the players. (some of them are pretty clear though)

The Fact is I like Novell, I like SUSE, and (I can't believe I am about to say this on a security board, espeacially a SCADA security board but) ... I also like MS. shhh

I am bracing for the flames.
