One of the reasons I am writing down these thoughts is so that people that have more information than I can correct me when I am wrong. Hopefully I will then learn.
I saw that yesterday as well, and had to sit back and smile at it and reflect on it just a bit. I said to myself, now that's how you go about admitting a mistake, admitting you fucked up, explain what happened, accept reality as it is, and move on. The audience understands, for the most part, and welcomes the honesty and candid approach.I wish management in anything but refreshing startups were as sympathetic to such approaches, ya know?
